1. Tube type regularization
Avoid excessive arcs, arbitrary curves, compound bends, and arcs greater than 180 degrees when designing and piping. Excessive arc not only makes the tooling heavy, but also limited by the size of the machine of the pipe bending machine ( angle roller ); the arbitrary curve and compound bending design is unreasonable, which greatly hinders the mechanization and automatic production, making it difficult for the operator to get rid of the heavy physical labor; An arc greater than 180 degrees prevents the section bender from being unloaded.
2. Bending radius standardization
The angle bending radius should be as far as possible to achieve "one tube and one mold" and "multiple tubes and one mold". For a pipe, no matter how many bends, the bending angle can only have one bend radius, because the bender does not replace the module during the section bending process, which is "one tube and one mold". The "multi-tube and one-module" means that the same diameter pipe should use the same angle bending radius as much as possible, that is, the same set of modules can be used to bend different shapes of the pipe shape, which is beneficial to reduce the number of modules.
3. Appropriate bend radius value
The size of the section bend radius of the catheter determines the amount of resistance the catheter is subjected to during bending. Generally speaking, the large diameter of the pipe diameter is small, and the wrinkles and slippage are prone to occur when bending, and the angle bending quality is difficult to ensure, so the R value of the pipe bending die is generally selected to be 23 times the diameter of the pipe.
4. Moderate bending speed
The main influence of the section bending forming speed on the forming quality is: the speed is too fast, the flatness of the curved part of the duct is easy to be caused, the roundness is not required, and the duct is pulled and broken; the speed is too slow, and the wrinkling of the duct is easy to occur. The compacting block slips, and the large diameter pipe tends to form a depression of the curved portion of the conduit. For a large number of tests on these two CNC pipe bending machines, it is advisable to determine the bending speed of the pipe to be 20% - 40% of the maximum profile bending speed of the machine.
5. Suitable mandrel and its position
The mandrel mainly plays the role of supporting the inner wall of the profile bending radius of the conduit during the pipe bending process to prevent deformation thereof. At present, the domestically produced pipe is bent on the machine tool. If the mandrel is not used, the quality is difficult to guarantee. There are many types of mandrel rods, such as column core rods, universal single, double, triple, and four-ball head core rods, oriented single and multi-ball head core rods. In addition, the position of the mandrel also has a certain influence on the pipe bending of the pipe: in theory, its tangent should be flush with the tangent of the pipe mould, but after a large number of tests, it is better to advance 1~2mm, at this time the quality of the pipe More ideal. Of course, the amount of advance is too large, which causes a phenomenon of so-called "goose head" on the outer wall of the curved portion.
