For angle bending with heel in, the radius or diameter is usually specified as measured from the inside apex of the angle.

For angle bending with heel out, the radius or diameter is usually specified as measured from the outside apex of the angle.

When bending angles heel up, the radius or diameter is usually specified as measured from the apex of the angle.

Particular attention should be paid to the angle bending of unequal leg angles. You must specify short leg in, short leg out, long leg in, long leg out. Otherwise the radius or diameter of such rolled angles is usually specified as measured just as the corresponding equal leg angles.
